Welcome To My Blog! :)

My name is Chad Goldthwaite, and I enjoy writing about my opinions and the things that inspire me. I love to look at life from many different angles. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool idealist, but I try to keep myself grounded. I cherish personal development and learning. I hope you enjoy reading! :)

LIFE is busy...

Diaclaimer: This post may not be very exciting or poetic. I just wanted to put in a transition post to explain how my blogging will be from now on.

Obviously, you can see that I did not finish writing a LIFE acronym post every day for 100 days. It was very enjoyable while it lasted, but it was also somewhat overwhelming knowing that I had to come up with a new and original post EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I think I prefer the lack of pressure when I write, not because I can't write a good post under pressure, but because I sacrifice other things in my day in order to make sure that it gets done. I prefer to write only when I am feeling inspired and have the time.

I accepted a management position recently, and it has been turning me into quite the workaholic. I worked probably 60 to 70 hours this past week, and strangely enough, it feels good. I know that if it remained that way for too long, I would definitely get burnt out. But it won't be that way forever, so for now I'm okay with it.

I enjoy writing, and I want to start writing again on a semi-regular basis.

FYI: This blog is mainly for me. I have this blog only because I enjoy writing. I don't publicize it, I don't advertise it, and I don't really care whether or not anyone reads it.

However, I'm not trying to say that I'm apathetic about it. I'm trying to say that I have no motives other than having a place to write, and perhaps brightening someone's day if they happen to read a post that they like (not this one of course--this one is boring...lol).

I know that people have been stumbling upon my blog. I have readers from Germany, Hawaii, Alaska, and lots of other places. It's just nice to know that somebody, somewhere, is reading what I'm writing, ya know? It's like an extra little bonus.

And on that note, I'm signing out.

Until next time, take care, and spend all your money on Christmas presents! ;)
